Words from Mr. Cuddles Wednesdays

Instill

Hi everyone, it’s me, Mr. Cuddles. Today is Words from Mr. Cuddles Wednesday.   Today, I am presenting the vocabulary word “instill”.

I present the word in context so that the clues help the viewer to understand the meaning.  Do you know what “instill” means?

The sentences I used to present the word “instill” were, “When you are born into a royal family, your family will work to instill proper manners into you.

It is something that is at the top of their list of what needs to be put into your mind and your actions.  By the way, sorry for this costume, but when you are running a one man show, sometimes you get stuck being a princess.”

The word “instill” has the prefix “in”.  The prefix “in” can have one of two meanings.  It can mean “not”, or it can mean “in”.  In this case it means “in” or “into”.

The word instill means to put into something or to establish an idea or attitude in a person’s mind.  I am rewarded with treats for my posing for these videos.
